Chambers USA, one of the leading rankings agencies for law firms and lawyers, has listed 26 Smith Anderson lawyers as being among the top practitioners in North Carolina.

The 2020 Chambers USA guide provides rankings of law firms and lawyers based on independent research obtained from clients, peers and members of the business community.

Smith Anderson continues to have more lawyers recognized in the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions category than any other North Carolina-based law firm, and has maintained its rating as the sole Band 1 rated firm in that category in the Raleigh, Greensboro, and surrounds region.

Additionally, Smith Anderson was awarded a Band 1 rating in North Carolina’s inaugural Tax category, and the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group is now one of only two law firms to receive a Band 1 rating in the state.
