John W. Gibson

John Gibson is a healthcare regulatory and transactional attorney who helps providers, healthcare organizations, and investors navigate the complex regulatory landscape shaping their business so they can remain focused on patient care. 

He advises clients on provider licensing and enrollment, reimbursement, corporate practice and ownership structures, and physician and clinician alignment, along with compliance under HIPAA, the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act, including related data privacy and security matters. John also counsels on value-based care arrangements and clinical integration, helping providers transition to innovative payment models with a clear understanding of the rules that govern them. 

On the transactional side, John guides buyers and sellers through the full life cycle of a deal, from structuring and diligence through negotiation and closing. He also helps clients navigate the demands of a heavily regulated industry throughout the deal so they can pursue their business goals with confidence. 

Outside of the office, John enjoys traveling internationally, cheering on Clemson athletics, and reading about history whenever he gets the chance.
