Overview
Will Crawford helps clients navigate complex business disputes and litigation matters. As a member of Smith Anderson’s Business Litigation team, he supports clients through all stages of litigation, conducting legal research, drafting motions and other litigation-related documents, and working closely with courts on matters involving discovery, dispositive motions, and trial management.
Before joining Smith Anderson, Will served as a judicial clerk for Judge Julianna Earp of the North Carolina Business Court. He also gained valuable insight into the judicial decision-making process through a judicial externship with Chief Justice Paul Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court and a judicial internship with then-U.S. Magistrate Judge Susan Rodriguez, now a U.S. District Judge for the Western District of North Carolina. These experiences provided him with firsthand exposure to how courts evaluate legal arguments and resolve disputes.
Away from the office, Will can often be found trying out new recipes, tackling automotive projects, following the news, or rooting for the University of Georgia on game days.
