Overview
Simeon Toronto is a member of Smith Anderson’s Litigation team, where he represents companies in complex disputes and government investigations, supporting clients through all phases of litigation, from case development through resolution.
Prior to joining the firm, Simeon practiced with an international law firm, where he represented Fortune 100 companies in complex commercial litigation and government investigations. He prepared key pleadings and filings for cases involving social media, consumer protection, antitrust, consumer products, healthcare, FCA and AKS disputes; managed discovery and assisted with case strategy; and coordinated deposition and expert witness processes. In addition, he maintained a meaningful pro bono practice focused on First Amendment issues and asylum matters.
While in law school, Simeon was recognized as a Davis Polk Leadership Institute Fellow and gained federal court experience as a judicial extern in the Eastern District of New York.
Outside of work, Simeon loves spending time with his wife and three young children, playing golf and basketball, running, exploring the Triangle and volunteering in his community.
