Overview
Robert Sands supports real estate development and land use and zoning matters, guiding developers, landowners, buyers and sellers, and investors through complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings and leases. He also advises clients on energy and finance-related transactions and works closely with them to move deals forward efficiently from initial planning through closing.
His experience spans a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and licenses. Robert conducts comprehensive due diligence involving title review and survey analysis, zoning compliance and environmental reports, and advises on conservation easements and other land use restrictions. He has also contributed to matters involving regulatory risk and compliance for development projects.
Outside the office, Robert enjoys logic puzzles, board games, trivia and exploring new restaurants.
