Overview

Jaren Hagler has deep experience with the tax structuring of complex corporate transactions and partnership tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, joint ventures, investment structuring, private equity and healthcare transactions. He helps clients with a broad range of federal and state tax planning and compliance across both for-profit and tax-exempt organizations.

Jaren brings sophisticated transactional tax experience developed in both private practice and in-house environments. Before joining the firm, he practiced with a national healthcare-focused law firm and served as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at a large financial services company where he advised on buy-side and sell-side transactions, corporate structuring, tax diligence, and tax-related provisions in transaction and investment documents.

His combination of law firm and in-house experience gives him a practical, business-focused perspective in helping companies, investors, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors structure complex transactions, manage tax risk, support deal execution, and achieve their strategic business objectives.

Outside of work, Jaren enjoys spending time with his wife, their three young children, and their dog. He also loves traveling with his family and exploring new places together.
