Overview

Daniel Harrell is a member of the firm’s Litigation team, where he focuses on business litigation and data privacy and security matters. His experience spans both the private and public sectors, giving him a broad perspective on legal strategy, case development and policy implications. Daniel has been involved in litigation encompassing a wide variety of subject matter areas in both state and federal courts. Regarding data privacy, Daniel has experience with pertinent laws and regulations both in the United States and abroad and has extensive experience drafting and revising privacy policies.

While in law school, Daniel completed a legal externship with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He also served as an Articles Editor for the Washington University Law Review.

A North Carolina native and Eagle Scout, Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors and is on a mission to visit every U.S. national park. He also has an interest in theater and enjoys spending his time outside the office with his wife, Julie, and their two cats, Menos and Felix.
