Overview
Audrey Bowman focuses her practice on health care law, helping health care providers and other organizations navigate the legal and regulatory issues that affect their business. She assists clients with researching complex legal and policy questions, analyzing regulatory developments, and addressing compliance and operational challenges in a constantly evolving environment.
Before joining Smith Anderson, Audrey interned with the United States Department of Justice Office of Vaccine Litigation in Washington D.C., where she drafted motions and settlement memoranda, researched legal and policy issues, and attended court hearings and moot courts involving vaccine-related claims. She also served in the North Carolina General Assembly as both an intern to a Senate committee chair and a legislative assistant, researching legislation, analyzing policy impacts, assisting with constituent communications, and supporting legislators and staff. These experiences provided valuable insight into the legal, policy, and regulatory issues affecting health care providers and other organizations.
Outside the office, Audrey enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her dog, Gus.
