Overview

Brett Neve is an attorney with Smith Anderson’s Banking and Finance practice, advising clients on a range of financing matters, including the negotiation and execution of new credit transactions, as well as the full range of situations involving financial distress, including in- and out-of-court restructuring matters, distressed M&A, recapitalizations and other liability management transactions.

Brett has eight years of experience working at international law firms, advising stakeholders throughout the capital structure in all aspects of restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Brett has helped public and private companies, their boards and management, as well as financial institutions, creditors, agents, lenders, sponsors and investors develop creative and value-maximizing strategies in some of the most complex restructurings and insolvencies.

Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and in his down time, Brett can often be found cycling across the Triangle.
