About North Carolina Super Lawyers
To select those lawyers honored as 2008 North Carolina Super Lawyers, publisher Law & Politics implemented a four-step selection process. This process included mailing 17,000 ballots to North Carolina lawyers and asking for nominations of the best lawyers in the state and conducting an independent candidate search; candidate evaluation; peer evaluation by practice areas and final selection. The final list includes approximately 5% of the total lawyers in North Carolina.
