Smith Anderson Lawyer Speaks About Legal Issues in Green Building

Raleigh (August 6, 2009) - Emily Yeatts, a member of Smith Anderson’s Construction Practice Group, was a featured speaker at the Career and Technical Education Conference addressing “Legal Issues in Green Building.” She spoke on Thursday, July 23 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The presentation focused on the process for obtaining LEED certification, mandates and incentives for sustainable building practices and legal risks associated with green construction projects. The audience for the presentation included professionals in technical education.
