Mike Saber and John Therien Present on Technology Licensing at CED's Entrepreneurs-Only Workshop

On March 27, 2007, Smith Anderson lawyers Mike Saber and John Therien were invited presenters at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development's (CED) Entrepreneurs Only Workshop. CED hosts these lunchtime meetings approximately six times per year to provide current and potential entrepreneurs with practical and applicable information on issues of concern to start-up organizations.

Mr. Saber and Mr. Therien's interactive presentation to 50 technology executives "Licensing - Key Issues for Entrepreneurs" offered attendees practical information on the full life-cycle of licensing issues including why to seek a license; how to obtain one; matters to consider when negotiating a license; and diligence issues for investors.
