John Jo Appointed to Board of Directors for NC Healthy Start Foundation

Raleigh, N.C. – Smith Anderson attorney John Jo was appointed to join the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation, a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating preventable infant death and illness in North Carolina. As a father of two children, John was especially attracted to the opportunity to support the Foundation.

About John Jo

John joined Smith Anderson in October 2006 after graduating with honors from Duke University Law School. He concentrates his practice in business-related litigation and insurance recovery counseling, representing clients in a variety of industries in matters such as contract disputes, commercial torts, insurance coverage and shareholder disputes. In addition to the NC Healthy Start Foundation, John is a volunteer with the Legal Aid of North Carolina Volunteer Lawyers Program and has volunteered his time as a mentor for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
