Christopher Smith Named President-Elect of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys

Raleigh, NC (June 23, 2011) - Smith Anderson partner Christopher Smith was voted President-Elect of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys' (NCADA). The election occurred at NCADA's annual meeting held June 16-18, 2011 in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The NCADA brings together civil litigation lawyers to promote exchange of information; and to strengthen the practice, skills and knowledge of lawyers defending individuals and businesses in North Carolina.

An experienced commercial litigator, Mr. Smith has significant experience in business disputes, trade secrets, environmental litigation, Superfund risk management, and with matters designated exceptional and complex, and assigned to the North Carolina Business Court. He manages large multi-party and multi-jurisdiction litigation projects for clients.
