Bill Nelson Speaks at Council of State Taxation Mid-Atlantic Regional State Tax Seminar

Raleigh, NC (September 21, 2010) Smith Anderson tax lawyer, Bill Nelson, spoke at the Mid-Atlantic Regional State Tax Seminar in Richmond, Virginia on Friday, September 17, 2010. The seminar was sponsored by the Council on State Taxation (COST).

Topics discussed at the seminar included current developments in the mid-Atlantic states; a discussion of significant state tax litigation around the country, and state tax policy. Mr. Nelson’s two presentations focused on recent North Carolina tax litigation and legislation.

Tax professionals from Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia were invited to the seminar.
