Alan Parry and Anna Osterhout Co-Author Article Featured in Financier Worldwide Magazine
Raleigh, NC (November 8, 2011) – Smith Anderson lawyers, Alan Parry and Anna Osterhout, co-wrote an article for the November 2011 edition of Financier Worldwide Magazine. The article is entitled: “D&O Insurance Issues in the Context of Corporate Bankruptcy.”
The article discusses some of the potential coverage issues that can arise with respect to a company’s D&O liability insurance policy when the company files for bankruptcy, and ways those problems can be avoided or mitigated with careful advance planning.

Ms. Osterhout focuses her practice on bankruptcy law and creditors’ rights. Prior to her employment with the firm, Ms. Osterhout worked as a Staff Attorney with the Bankruptcy Administrator for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Before joining the Bankruptcy Administrator, she served as a Chapter 7 panel trustee while in private practice.
