About the presentation:
This session provides a foundation in the basics of AI, followed by an overview of the ethical standards, rules, and principles that guide responsible AI use in legal practice. These guardrails support practical strategies for effectively and responsibly using AI. We will also examine the ethical Model Rules governing how law firms and lawyers should use generative AI, including key challenges and approaches for mitigating bias, protecting data privacy, promoting transparency, and upholding professional ethical responsibilities.
