2020 OFCCP Developments: What Federal Contractors Need to Know For 2021 AAP Compliance

A live webinar presented by Chris Northup, Ellen Shong & Associates and Kimberly J. Korando, Smith Anderson

In 2020, OFCCP has continued expanding its enforcement activities and issuing policy changes. The agency has had a number of major pay equity and hiring settlements but suffered a significant compensation enforcement defeat.

OFCCP continues its oversight of hiring and pay equity but, as promised, is just completing its individuals with disabilities-focused reviews of almost 500 contractors. It is just beginning the focused reviews of protected veterans as the agency expands its array of different evaluations.

Recently, the agency has been busy with the implementation of Executive Order 13950 dealing with race stereotyping and investigating contractors’ public diversity pledges.

The presentation provides a review of the significant activity in 2020, describes new policies and regulations issued, and the presenters discuss what contractors might expect in 2021 under the incoming Biden administration.
