Benefits Alert - Health Care Reform - Making Sense of the Grandfathering Rules

When Health Care Reform Legislation was adopted earlier this year, relief from certain burdensome and costly provisions was promised for “grandfathered health plans.” Recent guidance provides detail about what it takes to qualify for and maintain “grandfathered” plan status such that certain Health Care Reform requirements either do not apply or have a delayed effective date.
