Kim Korando Presents Pending Legislative Initiatives at NC Chamber Labor Law Forum

Raleigh (May 20, 2009) -- Kim Korando, Group Leader of Smith Anderson Employment, Labor and Human Resources practice, spoke about the pending federal workplace legislation at the NC Chamber Labor Law Forum in Greensboro, North Carolina on Wednesday, May 20. The program focused on the practical implications of the current labor union agenda on unionization, worker pay and immigration reform. National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Senior Vice President Government Relations and Policy, Aric Newhouse, presented NAM's recent activities in opposing the legislation. The Forum was attended by business executives from across the state.
