Martin Brinkley Named among 2008 Impact Law Leaders

Triangle Business Leader magazine has named Smith Anderson partner Martin Brinkley as a 2008 Impact Law leader. Mr. Brinkley is one of 24 Triangle area lawyers who received this recognition.

A corporate lawyer, Mr. Brinkley practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, banking, mergers and acquisitions, public finance, charitable foundations and nonprofit organizations. He is listed in Woodward/White, Inc.’s The Best Lawyers in America, Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite, and North Carolina SuperLawyer magazine.

Mr. Brinkley has worked extensively on professional, civic, charitable activities in the Research Triangle and throughout North Carolina. Most recently, he co-chaired (with Smith Anderson partner Caryn McNeill) the North Carolina Bar Association's 4 All Task Force, which sought to improve the provision of legal services to indigent North Carolinians. Mr. Brinkley received the NCBA’s Citizen Lawyer Award in 2008.
