Smith Anderson Named North Carolina’s Sixth-Largest Law Firm

The Triangle’s leading source of business news, Triangle Business Journal, has ranked Smith Anderson as North Carolina’s sixth-largest law firm on its 2022 N.C. Metro Law Firms list, ranked by number of attorneys.

"The largest law firm in the Triangle is still Smith Anderson," TBJ said, noting that the firm has 142 attorneys and a total of 245 employees.

Smith Anderson is one of 19 of the state’s 25 largest law firms with operations in Raleigh, "in case your forgot how many high-powered law firms there are in the Triangle," TBJ says.
