Kim Korando and Margaret Rosenfeld Speak at the NCACPA’s 72nd Annual Symposium

Raleigh, NC (November 21, 2011) – Smith Anderson partners Kim Korando and Margaret Rosenfeld each presented at the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants’ (NCACPA) 72nd Annual Symposium that was held in Greensboro, NC, on November 14–16, 2011.

Ms. Korando, the leader of the firm’s Employment, Labor and Human Resources group, and Ms. Rosenfeld, a partner in the firm’s Securities and Growth Companies group, each frequently speak to members of the business and legal community on legal and regulatory issues. At the Annual Symposium, Ms. Korando discussed recent legal and regulatory developments in employment and human resources law, and Ms. Rosenfeld discussed the impact of the Dodd-Frank Act and corporate governance trends and best practices.

The Annual Symposium, the NCACPA’s flagship event, averages approximately 900 participants and includes sessions presented by nationally recognized speakers and industry professionals. Heyward Armstrong, an associate in the firm’s Securities and Growth Companies group and also a licensed CPA, serves on the NCACPA’s Symposium Conference Committee, which develops program content for Annual Symposium.
