Smith Anderson Partner Marks Arnold Inducted into The Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County Hall of Fame

On Monday, October 30, Smith Anderson Partner Marks Arnold was inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County Hall of Fame during the organization’s annual Breakfast of Champions event. The Hall of Fame honors individuals, civic groups and corporations that have strongly impacted the Clubs.

Marks has served on the Boys and Girls Clubs’ Board of Directors since 1992. He was an officer from 1995-1999, and also served as Chair of the Board of Directors from 1998-1999.

“I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with so many dedicated individuals and groups who have contributed their time and talents to this exceptional organization,” Marks said. “The Clubs mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. During its 50 years of operation in Wake County, the Clubs have had a positive, and in many cases life-changing, impact on thousands of young people.”

Marks joins Smith Anderson Partner Sammy Thompson who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016. Their work on behalf of the Boys and Girls Clubs is indicative of the importance the firm places on serving the community.

A member of the firm’s Commercial Contracts and Mergers & Acquisitions practices, Marks has 38 years of experience with Smith Anderson.
