Justin Truesdale Elected as a Director of the Tenth Judicial District Bar

Raleigh, N.C. – Justin Truesdale, an associate at Smith Anderson,has been elected to serve a three-year term as a Director of the Tenth Judicial District Bar, which is a mandatory organization for attorneys who are active and live or practice in Wake County, North Carolina. Justin is one of seven attorneys who were elected at the most recent Tenth Judicial District Bar Annual Meeting by its members to serve on the Board of Directors.

Justin’s law practice focuses on corporate law, securities law, and mergers and acquisitions. He also serves on Smith Anderson’s Diversity and Recruiting Committees. Justin was one of 17 young North Carolina lawyers selected to attend the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) Leadership Academy as a member of its Class of 2014 and he was named to the Lawyers of Color Inaugural “Hot List” (Southern Region) in 2013, which honors minority attorneys under the age of 40 who are excelling within the legal profession.
