Description: This program will address topics of interest to in-house counsel serving growing academic healthcare systems. We will discuss attorney-client privilege challenges for in-house counsel, implications of being subject to various public records acts, the current state of the law regarding restrictive covenants in the era of telehealth, contracting issues in collaborations between academic learning systems and the biopharma industry, and the role of the corporate legal department in post-merger integration.
