Overview

Nick Zanzot is an attorney with Smith Anderson’s Corporate and Transactional practice group. He provides counsel to both public and private companies and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters and public company securities law.

Prior to joining Smith Anderson, Nick served as an intern for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Office of University Counsel, as well as for the Hon. Frank Whitney of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina; the Hon. Paul Newby, Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court; and for North Carolina Senators Jeff Tarte and Jerry Tillman.

Nick is an Eagle Scout who grew up in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. He loves to be outdoors and plans to visit every U.S. National Park.
