Lorie Beam serves as the firm’s Director of Operations. Prior to this role, she served as the firm’s Technology Director for more than 20 years.
Lorie provides leadership across various departments and ensures the achievement of the firm’s strategic goals and objectives. She directly coordinates the ongoing development of the firm’s strategic technology initiatives, the role technology plays in the delivery of legal services, the compliance of certain security regulations and the organization and management of its infrastructure. Additionally, for more than 20 years, Lorie has served as a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s technology committee.
Prior to joining Smith Anderson, Lorie worked in the legal technology field at other major law firms.
