Overview
Cerretta Amos is an associate in Smith Anderson's Real Estate Development practice group.
Cerretta's practice focuses on easement negotiations; real estate acquisitions, dispositions and leasing; title disputes; public utility real estate issues; right-of-way acquisitions; and condemnation/eminent domain actions.
Prior to joining Smith Anderson in 2017, Cerretta spent several years focusing on commercial real estate due diligence. She has experience in reviewing loan and credit agreements, drafting ancillary documents, title documents, property condition assessments, phase I environmental site assessments, as well as zoning and survey documents.

- Represented a NYSE-listed energy company in a strategic alliance with an on-site power generation systems company for repowering a 30 megawatt project involving distributed generation systems at two sites.
- Represented an electric utilities company in numerous cases involving the acquisition and condemnation of transmission line easements.
- Represented a natural gas company in obtaining easements for natural gas pipelines.
