Robert Rehm Speaks at North Carolina State University’s Healthcare IT Forum
Raleigh, NC (November 14, 2011) – Robert Rehm, an attorney in Smith Anderson’s Intellectual Property and Health Care practice groups, is scheduled to speak on “Managing Risk Exposure in Transitioning to EHR” at the upcoming North Carolina State University Healthcare IT Forum on November 18, 2011. The Forum is intended to bring together practitioners and researchers for the purpose of discussing and sharing viewpoints on current issues related to Healthcare IT.
Rehm will discuss certain intellectual-property-related legal issues arising out of transitioning from paper to electronic health records (EHR) and will identify steps for managing the potential risk associated with such issues.
Rehm regularly assists health care practices and practitioners in connection with software licenses and other IT-related agreements involving the development, acquisition, use, and protection of intellectual property and related rights.
