Jackson Moore Offers Lessons in Government Teaming Agreements at 2013 FEDCON

Raleigh, N.C. –Jackson Moore, a partner within Smith Anderson’s Government Contracts practice, provided an update on Teaming Agreements as part of a panel discussion at the annual North Carolina Federal Construction, Infrastructure & Environmental (FEDCON) summit in Wilmington, N.C. on October 17, 2013. During the panel discussion, Jackson highlighted the importance of developing enforceable teaming agreements and the advantages and pitfalls of teaming relationships. 

Jackson publishes and speaks regularly to members of the business community on government contracting and other legal issues.  During the presentation, he discussed recent court decisions regarding the enforceability of teaming agreements as contracts; the Federal Acquisition Regulations; and bid protests from the United States Government Accountability Office.
