RALEIGH, N.C. – On Dec. 6, 2012, Smith Anderson partner R. Donavon Munford, Jr., participated in a panel discussion at the 2012 Not-for-Profit Seminar sponsored by Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, Certified Public Accountants. Don discussed tax planning strategies for charitable giving. The program was held at The Matthews House in Cary, N.C., and was attended by executive directors, presidents, chief executive officers, board members, chief financial officers and other leaders from non-profit organizations across Eastern North Carolina and the Research Triangle Park area.
