David Hayden elected to the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Defense Board Association

Fayetteville, NC (June 27, 2011) -- Smith Anderson attorney David Hayden, a member of the firm’s Government Contracts practice, was elected to the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Defense Business Association (NCDBA) during their membership meeting today at the Crown Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A total of six new directors were elected to serve on the board during 2011-2012. Numerous local, regional and state defense businesses were in attendance.

The North Carolina Defense Business Association is primarily comprised of businesses with interests in military contracting, government affairs and supporting the state’s military installations. The Association serves the state of North Carolina, with members from across the state. The Association includes a vast networking group of defense contractors, private businesses, Chambers, Economic Developers, municipalities, military leadership, Universities, and Community Colleges that is reaching across the state to provide a networking opportunity that promotes doing business in North Carolina.
