Mike Weddington Appointed to the North Carolina Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Initiatives Task Force

Raleigh, NC (November 9, 2010) – Mike Weddington, a partner with Smith Anderson’s Contract Disputes and Commercial Litigation and Construction practice groups, has been appointed to the Young Lawyers Initiatives Task Force by North Carolina Bar Association president, Gene Pridgen.

The newly-formed task force will focus on designing and implementing a revitalized mentoring program, establishing a leadership academy for young lawyers; and facilitating a candid discussion of issues affecting young lawyers. Issues for discussion will include employment opportunities, law school debt, quality of life, and professionalism in the law firm environment.
