Matt Martin Appointed to the Wake County Planning Board by the Wake County Board of Commissioners

Raleigh, NC (February 22, 2010) Matt Martin, a lawyer at Smith Anderson, has been appointed to the Wake County Planning Board by the Wake County Board of Commissioners. As a member of the Board, Mr. Martin will review and advise the Commissioners about zoning and planning matters subject to the County’s jurisdiction. He will join nine other members of the Board when his term begins on March 1, 2010.

Martin’s practice involves helping clients in litigation and dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on construction and real property-related matters. He advises owners, general contractors, and sub-contractors on construction contracts and other construction project matters. He is a member of the firm’s construction and real estate groups.
