Rose Kenyon Speaks at North Carolina Chamber’s Manufacturing Summit 2009

Raleigh (June 17, 2009) – Rose Kenyon, Smith Anderson partner and member of the firm’s Employment and Labor Law practice, spoke at the North Carolina Chamber’s Manufacturing Summit 2009 on Monday, June 8 in Greensboro.

Ms. Kenyon’s presentation was entitled “The Labor Law Train is Coming: And guess who’s on the tracks,” and focused on pending labor and employment law legislation at the federal level.

The Summit’s title was “Shaping North Carolina’s Manufacturing Future.”

Ms. Kenyon’s practice focuses on employment and labor law. She has been recognized as one of North Carolina’s leading employment and labor lawyers by Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Other recognitions include Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite. Ms. Kenyon is active in professional and community affairs, and is the current Chair of the Strategic Planning & Emerging Trends Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association, and is Vice President for Habitat for Humanity of Wake County.
