Amy Meyers Batten a Featured Speaker at a National Association of Stock Plan Professionals Meeting

At a recent meeting of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP), Smith Anderson partner Amy Meyers Batten gave a presentation on the substance and possible practical implications of the Securities and Exchange Commission's proposed executive compensation disclosure rule.

With nearly 6,000 members, the NASPP provides professionals who draft, administer and oversee stock plans and handle equity compensation with timely and pertinent information.

A corporate and securities lawyer, Ms. Batten focuses her practice primarily on public and private securities offerings, from both the perspective of issuers and investors, as well as public company securities compliance matters. She also represents start-up and growth companies in venture capital; mergers and acquisitions; and general corporate matters and represents venture capital funds with fund formation; investment; and portfolio company matters.
