Smith Anderson Hosts Hospital-Based Physician Seminar

On Saturday, May 15, 2004, Smith Anderson's Health Law Team hosted a seminar for hospital-based physicians at the Cardinal Club in Raleigh. Attendees included CEO’s and officers of major groups, some of whom traveled from as far away as Asheville and Greenville, S.C. Smith Anderson attorneys presented on Certificate of Need, Anti-Referral law issues, Managed Care issues, Defending An Alleged Health Care Fraud Case, HIPAA, Exclusive Contracts, and other timely topics facing hospital-based physician groups.
