Smith Anderson has announced a new partnership with Terry Crandall, an experienced life sciences industry professional, who will assist the firm as a contract lawyer in the Life Sciences practice. With more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industries, Terry will work on specialized matters and help the firm’s clients navigate regulatory issues, comply with global market requirements and adopt strategies to commercialize products.
Most recently, Terry served as the chief legal officer of ViiV Healthcare, a multi-billion-dollar HIV-focused joint venture of three of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Terry also spent 10 years at GlaxoSmithKline as an in-house lawyer. While working with Smith Anderson, Terry will continue to work at her company, TLC Associates Consulting, LLC, which offers strategic consulting services focusing on legal and compliance needs in the health care sector.
