Robert Rehm Teaches Course on Intellectual Property Licensing at Wake Forest University School of Law

RALEIGH, N.C. – Robert Rehm, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Intellectual Property practice group, will teach a course on Intellectual Property Licensing during the Spring Semester 2012 as an adjunct faculty member at Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, NC. The course will focus primarily on the intellectual property aspects of technology commercialization transactions, including licensing, joint venture, alliance, and other types of collaborative arrangements in which intellectual property assets are created, enhanced, and shared.

Rehm regularly represents a variety of clients in connection with technology commercialization matters with a particular emphasis on matters involving software, hardware, and other assets relating to information technology. His practice focuses on technology licensing and commercialization and the acquisition as well as licensing and protection of patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property rights. Rehm was a practicing electrical engineer for 16 years prior to embarking on a legal career.
