Professional Summary
Ms. McNeill leads Smith Anderson’s Employee Benefits and Compensation Practice Group. Her practice includes advising clients on all aspects of the design, implementation and administration of employee benefit plans and executive compensation arrangements. A significant part of her practice is devoted to counseling and negotiating on behalf of clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Ms. McNeill’s recent experience includes:
- Serving as counsel to a company as it established a leveraged ESOP and used that ESOP to purchase 49% of the company from its sole shareholder in a $13 million tax-advantaged rollover transaction; and
- Preparing performance-driven management incentive plans to help a purchaser retain the top management of a recently acquired company post-closing.
