and casualty companies, including professional liability companies, life and
health companies, credit insurers, and others with self-funded coverage concerns.

Our Lawyers:
In addition to our insurance practice, our lawyers actively participate in the
North Carolina and American Bar Associations, the Association of Life Insurance
Counsel, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the North Carolina Society
of Health Care Attorneys. Lawyers in this group include the former general
counsel of a domestic North Carolina insurance company, who also is a former
Chairman of the North Carolina Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association,
and the current Chairman of the board of directors of a domestic professional
liability insurance company, who also is the former Vice Chair of the Insurance
Committee of the ABA's Section on Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice.
