eTrends - Computer Technicians Settle Overtime Compensation Claims for $1.73 Million under the FLSA and California Law

On June 17, 2010, a federal district court in California granted formal approval to a $1.73 million settlement agreement, pursuant to which approximately 110 current and former computer technicians settled their claims against Wells Fargo & Co. for overtime compensation. The computer technicians, who are or were employed by Wells Fargo & Co. as PC/LAN computer engineers, alleged that they had been misclassified as exempt from overtime pay requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA") and California law.
