Sandy Costa Authors Inspirational Book on How Leaders Can Encourage Spirit, Achievement and Truth to Flourish in the Workplace

Smith Anderson lawyer, Santo J. Costa, recently authored a book summarizing his philosophy of value-centered leadership and ways that good leaders can inspire and encourage spirit, achievement and truth in the workplace. This achievement, Humanity at Work (Chapel Hill Press, Inc.), offers insights through a series of letters that Mr. Costa wrote to employees, colleagues and friends for 13 years beginning in 1994 while President and Chief Operating Officer of Quintiles Transnational Corp. and continuing after he returned to the private practice of law. Topics tackled by Sandy include character and self-worth; comprehending the incomprehensible; fear and courage; love and humanity; and principled leadership. Throughout the book, Sandy offers readers insights into how his strong personal faith and beliefs shaped his values and his leadership style.

Sandy intends to use the book as a platform to speak on leadership issues including keynote addresses, and motivational and instructional talks.
