Overview

Bill Moss has experience in all phases of civil litigation, including trial court and appellate representation. He has represented physicians, nurses, hospitals and other health care providers and organizations in medical malpractice actions at the trial and appellate levels. Bill has provided risk management advice to health care providers and defended manufacturers of medical products and devices. He has also represented insurers in coverage disputes.

Bill has experience in condemnation matters, including the representation of the North Carolina Department of Transportation in the defense of inverse condemnation lawsuits filed by property owners. He has also represented print and broadcast media in a variety of contexts, including First Amendment issues, pre-publication review, and the defense of defamation claims.
