Ansley Chapman Cella Board Certified as Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law

The North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization has recognized Smith Anderson attorney Ansley Chapman Cella as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law.

Ansley met certification standards that include substantial involvement in the practice area, fulfilment of continuing legal education requirements, peer review and passage of the specialty field examination. Board certification, a reliable credential for the public, is based on objective criteria that conforms to standards established by the American Bar Association.

A partner in the firm’s Trusts and Estates group, Ansley has assisted high net worth individuals and closely held business owners with sophisticated estate and trust planning matters for more than 20 years. Her recognitions include Chambers and Partners: High Net Worth, Private Wealth Law; Best Lawyers® in Trusts and Estates Law, Tax Law, and Closely Held Companies and Family Business Law; North Carolina Super Lawyers; and Business North Carolina Legal Elite. 

Ansley received her Master of Laws in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section Council. She has been a longtime volunteer at her three children’s schools, at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, with the Chatham Hall Alumnae Council, and, more recently, with a local chapter of the National Charity League.
