Kirk Warner Selected Commanding Officer of the 134th Legal Operations Detachment in Fort Bragg

Raleigh, NC (April 20, 2011) - Kirk Warner was selected by The Judge Advocate General of the Army to become the first Commanding Officer of the 134th Legal Operations Detachment (LOD) to be headquartered at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The 134th LOD will be comprised of 56 Judge Advocates and military paralegals in 12 deployable general and special Legal Operations Teams stationed throughout North Carolina. Colonel Warner is completing his tenure as the Staff Judge Advocate of the 10,000 soldier/three division, nationwide 108th Training Command headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mr. Warner heads Smith Anderson’s products liability practice group. He practices in the areas of products liability and a variety of litigation areas. He also represents a variety of government contractors with issues involving overseas war operations and contracts.
