Smith Anderson Lawyers Participate in a Legal Clinic for UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Students

Raleigh, NC (August 30, 2010) - On Saturday, August 21, 2010, Smith Anderson lawyers Merrill Mason, Robert Rehm and Benji Jones, participated in a legal clinic for the Launching the Venture MBA class sponsored by the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC). The clinic gave UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA students an opportunity to receive coaching and mentoring by experienced Smith Anderson lawyers with regards to launching a new company. The mentoring provided students with practical “real world” information on the legal issues facing start-up organizations. The lawyers practice in Smith Anderson’s Corporate Securities practice group, where they represent the interests of diverse clients through the growth cycle, from emerging to mature.
