Alicia Gilleskie and Frederick Zufelt Present Webinar for the North Carolina Medical Society Foundation

Raleigh, NC (July 15, 2010) - Smith Anderson lawyers Alicia Gilleskie and Frederick Zufelt presented a webinar program entitled “Implementing Meaningful Use of EHR” for the North Carolina Medical Society Foundation on July 13, 2010. The program, which was co-sponsored by the North Carolina Medical Group Managers (NCMGM), featured an overview of the Medicare and Medicaid incentive programs for “meaningful users” of electronic health record systems, and addressed considerations in forming strategic alliances for the adoption of these technology systems. Ms. Gilleskie and Mr. Zufelt also provided an overview of the much-anticipated meaningful use final rule which was released only hours before their presentation.

The North Carolina Medical Society Foundation (NCMSF) is the philanthropic arm of the North Carolina Medical Society.
