Jackson Moore Speaks at Small Business Conference for Veterans

Raleigh, NC (April 28, 2010) – Jackson Moore, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Government Contracting and Commercial Litigation practice groups, spoke on “Legal Issues in Government Contracting” at the Small Business Conference for Veterans held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, in Cary, North Carolina.

The program was sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Small Business and Technology Development Center, the North Carolina Military Business Center, and the Cary Chamber of Commerce. The program was part of an ongoing effort to help veterans start and grow viable businesses and earn their fair share of government contracting opportunities. Other topics addressed at the conference were: teaming, joint venture agreements and subcontracts; SBA financing; Patriot Express Loans and other business start-up and financing information.
